Materials Specialist (South Amboy, NJ):
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Asia and USA.

Assist in producing and providing high quality ready-to-assemble (RTA) cabinets.

Design the product test and quality control of processing procedures.

Evaluate material performance, conduct tests on raw materials or finished products to ensure quality.

Evaluate technical specifications and determine appropriate methods for fabricating and joining materials.

Provide guidance to vendor in developing materials for specific uses in projected products.

Make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives such as strength, weight, heat resistance, electrical conductivity, and cost.

Communicate design and test plan expectations to vendors to ensure successful product quality outcomes.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in materials engineering, materials science or related field, 2 years of experience in job offered. Solid knowledge of materials structure and properties, strong skills in materials analysis and selection, development, test and problem-solving.
